I recently inherited an old gun of my Dad's. It is a double barrel 12 gage shotgun. On the barrel it has MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO PHLA.PA.U.S.A. On the other barrel it has STERLINGWORTH FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL.
Behind the trigger guard are the numbers 87680.
The barrel is 28 inches long.
I don't know what other information is needed to identify this gun.

I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks,
Tom

What you have there is a Sterlingworth mfg. aprox. 1920. It is a field grade gun. For more detailed info look under Sterlingworths on this website.
