Image Ser. No.26182,30" Chromox,Chokes Full-Imp. Mod. By the wear marks, my guess is that this belonged to a duck hunter, and it led a hard life. Thought about restocking but just went with a refinish. The scars, chip out of fore end and dowel pin repairs kind of grow on ya, because you know they were earned while hunting.

Great old gun; I for one like the fact that you chose to refinish the wood. You can't re-manufacture honest character!

fullchoke16 What weight bbls on that nice old fox? I have a few Foxes that have just the right ammount of carry wear to add that special character that can only be found after many seasons in the field. Paul

The old girl sports a pair of #3's. It had a spalled up hard rubber plate on it and I changed to a Galazans 1" pad. Gun weighs in at 7lb 1oz if my scale is right. Haven't hunted much with it yet,but shot some doubles trap a couple times and managed to hit most of 'em. I think it might have a few good stories if only it could talk. Fred

Here are some pics of a 1920-vintage A-Grade 12-gauge with 28-inch 4-weight Chromox barrels and a total weight of 6 pounds 14 ounces. This gun had a good 3-inch drop-at-heel, hence flowed down the river of commerce when a straight grip 1918 B-Grade came my way.
