After acquiring a Super I had an itch for a Super pamphlet which I was recently able to acquire. It came with the 2 inserts as shown one of which is a price list from 1925. Brett had recently posted pics of his 1924 price list; upon comparison the only change was the price of an HE Grade Super 12 going from $100 in 1924 to $85 in 1925. Along with the Super pamphlet came the pocket catalog from1925-27 and the 1931-34 catalog with the Lynn Bogue Hune duck scene.

I still wonder why Fox recommended using 3" shells in the Super Fox when many, maybe most, Super Foxes were built with 2 3/4" chambers. See the last pictured pamphlet.

Nice score! That is the second Super-Fox brochure circa 1925. The original circa 1923 doesn't have the "Made in 12 and 20 gauge" on the front cover --

and one with a $100 price.

The retail price stayed $100 for 1924. For 1925 the Godshalks dropped the price of the Super-Fox to $85, for 1926 they dropped it to $79.60 --

This price drop may be associated with the move into the new more efficient factory

Finally for 1929 it dropped again to $66.50 --

Bill Headrick gave me a photocopy of the Savage Super-Fox brochure, but I have yet to score a real one.
