I can't believe little Mollie is 9 months old already. She's at summer camp with Tony Carlo.

Beautiful picture. No doubt she’ll retrieve many dead ducks this Fall.

Time flies. Got Annie Spayed last week because she is now 18 months old. No desire for puppies. FWIW, there are more well breed Red Setters out there then there has ever been. Lots of outstanding breeders putting out excellent dogs with style and speed.

I should know this Tom but what's the difference between the Red setter and the Irish setter? I think Annie is a keeper.

Pretty much the same thing. AKC calls them Irish Setters. FDSB calls them Red Setters. Annie is dual registered. The AKC registration says Irish Setter. The FDSB paperwork calls her a Red Setter. I call her a Red Setter because the breeder runs his dogs in FDSB events. This particular breeder can have dual registered dogs because he is grandfathered in as he has been breeding for 50 years. Do not believe most breeders can do that. They have to choose either Irish or Red, but not both.
