Lefever drillings

Post by SPE33 »

I recently had the good fortune to attend the Las Vegas Antique Arms show.Even tho I have heard that it’s been going downhill I thought it was great. Most of the Fox guns I saw were either brought by CSMC or Josh Loewensteiner.I spent quite a bit of time hanging out at the Lefever tables.Got to reconnect with some friends I met in Pennsylvania a couple of years ago and meet some new friends as well. They had a great display that included four of the ten known Lefever drillings.Lefever put the rifle barrel on top unlike most other drillings.Unfortunately, they were only on display. Not that I could have afforded one anyway. But who among us wouldn’t want a 16X16X38-55 Lefever drilling?

Joe, thanks for sharing your report on Vegas and especially the Lefever Drillings. I have never had the good fortune to see one in the flesh, very cool!
