My first call would be to Jason Barden (Pumpkin Mtn. Gun Works in a prior life) who has just announced having gone into business again to see if he has a screw in stock. Failing that, IMHO opinion any competent gun machinist should be able to make you a new screw. There are at least two such persons who advertise on the PGCA BBS and elsewhere - Lou Rotelli and Joe Breda - who can help you. This is not a project requiring a Papal Bull from Rome in terms of feasibility and cost - it is a routinely required and provided request in the mechanical world be it guns, flyreels, or snowblowers.
