Advice on Refinishing an A Grade 16 BLNE

Post by Old Colonel »

I have an A Grade 16 BLNE whose butt stock has the finish partially chipped away to bare wood.

I have done a London oil finish by myself before, but believe I should try to duplicate what would be right for 1936 A grade.

I believe it was a varnish of some sort but I am ignorant of the particulars.
