A Fox Gets the Game

Post by Researcher »

For the first time in forever, a decent piece of original A.H. Fox Gun Co. paper showed up on ebay, a circa 1917 A Fox Gets the Game pocket catalog.

Someone got a good buy in my opinion. These early versions with the prices printed in the catalogs are pretty scarce.

Last time I sold a duplicate from my collection, a more common later version with the inserted price list, I got $40 more.

Darn, I missed that one. I have the small (pocket) version of that catalog but not the larger version. I’ll have to update my searches. Thanks for sharing.

This recent sale was a pocket size. The last large size has the 1915 prices printed in it --

but is also found with "IMPORTANT--Change of Prices" paste ins for 1916 and 1917 --
