Hausmann’s 2023

Post by Jeff S »

Things are shaping up for a great event. This morning Daryl, Frank and I met at Mike Koneski’s “Rock Mountain” for a “warm up” round of clays. If you haven’t been there you should make point to shoot it. Great facility!

After shooting we drove to Hausmann’s to set up the traps for Bo Whoop. Also, if you visit the tent you’ll notice that Kevin has a new mounted Fox for our display.👍

My second year attending and I think, my first post. What a wonderful event, great people and fantastic guns. Great shooting, and great place to be a shooting spectator. Thank you to the dedicated Fox crew for the unique and entertaining specialty shoot. Top shelf. Thank you, Steve

I think we all had a great time at Ernie’s. The clays courses were in great shape and the camaraderie was top notch. I figured I should wind up this thread with one last picture, our friend Tom (Sparky) getting ready to shoot the Letterman.

I want to say a big Thank You to all the fine members who did an excellent job promoting the AH Fox Collectors Organization this past weekend.

We really enjoyed the events put on by the Fox members, thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks to all who posted pics; here are just a couple more for the good of the chapter, so to speak. General shot of the Fox booth and one of our new event display mascot, "Foxy Roxy". Roxy was sent off the planet by a car going faster than she was at the time; a good friend of mine came upon the unsavory event shortly after it happened and, noting the relatively minor visible traumatic effects. took her to his taxidermist and had her mounted. When she outgrew his living space and offered her for sale, I stepped in and gave her a new home. (Our previous display personality, "Ms. Renaud" (aka "Vicky the Vixen), suffered badly from alopecia and loss of balance on her mount, so was retired forthwith). Also a bonus shot of the Letterman display, it will be 100 years ago this June 23 when he set the record with his J Grade Fox SBT. (Click the image and it will come upright0. Kevin
