New SW

Post by Maggiemollie »

30" M/F. Serial 865xx. Shows use but not abuse. Mechanically sound. No cracks in wood. Barrels ring bores shine. Some pitting on outside of barrels but no major dings or bulges. Wood finish is worn in spots but to me this all contributes to the gun's character.

Looks very nice. Hopefully those two dogs of yours will flush a pheasant towards you. 👍

Thanks, Jeff. They are ready. MA extended the pheasant season until 12/31 next year. I will say MA does a great job stocking. They plant corn and cut the fields into rows. Last stocking was just before thanksgiving and last weekend dogs flushed a pheasant hiding along the CT River. One dog went in after and was ready to swim the 1/3mi across "to catch a new kill it".

Good enthusiasm, but that would be a long swim in cold water.
