I was lucky enough to pick this up for a good price.
Is in great shape for being made in 1938 AFAIK
Looking forward to learning more about it.

They are nicely put together guns.

I would definitely consider one if I ran into the right configuration.

Very well built guns, easy on the eyes too.

I'm not sure what it's choked at.
I haven't checked that aspect yet.
The sideclips and Ivory bead was configuration enough for me....lol

Very nice! I like Sauers. Usually very light.

This is the first Sauer I ever picked up and it is lite.
I actually just received it tonight and was happily surprised it has two Ivory beads.

If anyone would like Maybe I could post other pictures tomorrow

Here's the stock doesn't appear to fancy.
The bores are full and full.
It's in even better shape than I had thought.

From appearances in your pics that gun has seen very little use. Hope you enjoy it!

My pleasure
I picked it up from a friend about 7pm last night.
Didn't get home until midnight.
It was cold so I put some oil on it and realized the case colors looked dim because the gun was dusty.

I haven't really gone over it at all yet

Very nice. Well-built guns. If you ever get the chance to view/handle one of their high grades (F-45 or F-60) don't pass it up. Most are exquisite and share some striking similarities to our beloved Foxes.
