I am in GA, Jeff. Most of our hunts are in beaver swamps and creek sloughs. Sometimes with enough rain it can back water into the bottoms and we can get somewhat of a timber hunt. Difference is, we don't often get the circling big ducks that decide to commit and drop in very often. No, we get the wood rockets that buzz through dipping and darting until that get where they want to be. Other GA natives may do it differently looking for big ducks on the coastal marshes and large reservoirs.
