Some pics. In my intro I said that I collect OU/SXS shotguns, and typically go modern. I shoot quite a bit, and my collection gets used. Anyway, I was offered this 30" 1927 SW in original condition besides the buttplate/pad for a song. Couldn't pass this one up.

It's Full/Full, all numbers match, and it locks up tight. Rib checks out, and as you can see, it's super clean internally. Someone got into it at one time, as there are some slightly buggered screw slots. I am going to shoot it of course.

There was zero rust anywhere on the gun. So thankful that someone/family took care of this cool shotgun throughout it's life so far.

As a collector, I have mastered the "Just walk away", and this one had me feeling good right off the bat.

Took it shooting yesterday. Worked just great. I fired a box of shells and used both barrels. Definitely felt better using the front trigger, the rear felt a bit cramped, but that can be addressed with more practice. Fun old gun!
