Be careful with our best friends. Lots of hidden dangers. Scout dropped over 30 feet into a hidden cut today. He is ok but it could have been bad. No way he could get out. I did something I should not have done, but we both made it out.

Everytime I see folks post pictures of hunting Chukar out west I wonder how dogs don't get hurt by falls.

Thanks guys. If it had not been so late in the day I would have went 2 hours to town to get some help but couldn’t bring myself to leave him.
God must also love bird dogs so he allowed us to get out of this mess.
Another reason why GPS collars are so great. Allowed me to find him right away.
