thought i had pic holding snake and garden gun but must have been mistaken, look closely at hip and you can see j frame model 63 loaded with bird shot for close quarters combat in feed barn if needed.

wife found it living in the rafters even though tom cat was bedded down in shed at night. with all the clutter on high shelves i would just get a peek now and then before it would disappear.took a while to get him but the 9mm flobert with no 9 shot did the job without damage to shed .

Where does the 9MM ammo come from? I assume it is rimfire, and maybe expensive. Tell us about it.

the only ammo i have ever had was recent manufacture from fiocchi and umarex, and yes it is rimfire.it is or was available in 7.5, 8,and 9 shot.this round was very common in europe. the old european rounds were brass base and paper. most were red or blue checker pattern and reminded me of firecrackers.i have heard that no wad was used and think this may be true because it leaves more unburned powder in bore than i have ever seen in any other round.when i bought gun several years ago i paid 20 to 22 dollars per box of 50. six months ago online i paid 35 plus shipping.i think all stock online was bought in error when 9mm para dried up and 9mm flobert showed available.i have idea of machining bushing that will accept 22 power charges for nail gun if i run out and cannot find any more. thanks for your interest. 44whiskey ps these are also known as no. 3 bore shotgun in england
