Nice going, Terc! Tell us more about your Fox. It looks like a beauty.
Jim
PS - I hope your average stays 100% thru the rest of the season and you bag many more Ruffed Grouse!

Nice Dave. Season opened just recently and it looks like you have way less leaves in western PA than we do here in the northeast quadrant Good start to the season! Do I remember correctly, you told me you’re doing walk up hunting this season?

I was out on Wednesday and found plenty of wild grapes, bittersweet and wintergreen berries. Three flushes but too many green leaves and I only caught glimpses of two of the three. No shooting for me.

Ya I'm hunting without Bella now. She's a retired house queen. Something is missing ,it's just not the same. However, I do love to walk , a flush every now and then makes it interesting.
There is still leaves on trees but they are falling fast. We have tons of grapes here .

Thanks for the comments about the Fox. It is a 20g/CE/28" gun. Jay Schacter found it in rough shape a few years ago. He had it totally reconditioned, restocked, reblued, new casecolors, ect. It is built to my specs. Every time I use it I like it more.

I'm heading north to Cameron /Potter Counties this evening. Hopefully more pics to follow.

I just picked up a nice original CE 20 26" straight grip gun. They are becoming a favorite of mine.
