A jungle ruff
To say it was a jungle out there for the NY south zone opener would be an understatement. I honestly cannot recall an opening day with cover as thick as this year. Regardless little Luna and I hit the covers and found a few birds but I only managed to see two of them. I was surprised at the lack of woodcock in the covers I was obviously in the wrong cover at the wrong time. Apologies I grabbed the wrong gun case in the morning so the RBL claimed the grouse.

Nice going! I can see why they call you "Brushbuster". Jim

Re: A jungle ruff
Nice job! And, nice wood on that gun.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.
