Cody Factory Letter-Very Nice

Post by fox-admin »

I sent for a Cody factory letter and they did a really nice job in about two weeks (they quote 1 month). I sent for a letter because I wanted a complete record for the gun and the AHFCA records are only the front side in the majority of cases.

Now that is very detailed. Short LOP on that one IMO.

Good to hear Craig! I have used Cody before for records for different Model 21's in my collection and they have always been detailed and prompt. Good to see they are following that process with the Fox guns.

thanks
Mike

Craig, the wood on that DE is amazing!

As Bill said I can see why it's one of your favorites. I'd love to add a D to my meager collection.

I don't think I have ever seen a better piece of wood on a Fox of any grade, but then again only 105 D's in the second style engraving were made and I have only examined a dozen or so. I own two guns that I consider off the charts examples not because they are like new but they are way above the normal for there grade. One is the subject gun and the second is a Parker BH made for an upstate NY railroad industrialist's son and it has the best piece of wood I have ever seen on a Parker BH.
