I grew up right around there so why not right?
Bores are still very good.
Anyone know much about them ?

Don't know much about Shattuck, but seems mostly they made single barrels but had added a hammerless double by September 1, 1896, the only C.S. Shattuck catalog in my collection --

Thank you David.
The catalogue is cool.
The barrels don't appear to be Damascus?

In one of his books the late Joe Vorisek list the Shattuck hammerless double as being offered with steel or twist barrels.
Did some more digging around and found the C.S. Shattuck double in the 1907 Chas. J. Godfrey catalog --
