Tom, if you purchased that gun from Lock, Stock & Barrel you got a quality gun. The Hoaglands are a nice family and really work hard to offer quality guns. We had dinner with them in Vegas last week. Spencer hustles all over the map to buy good guns.

I did indeed. Actually got a note from the stocker saying there is still some filling to be done on the pores to make it right. I hate Claro walnut for that reason, but it is what it is. When done right it will look super. Yes, they have some wonderful guns whether it be pistols rifles or shotguns. Far as I know they start out all their auctions at 1 cent and where they end up is where they end up.
