Wood used on early graded guns?

Did any of the early graded guns have black walnut stocks?

Black walnut was only used on the Sterlingworth guns, I have never seen an original early graded gun with American black walnut.

My 40+ years of looking at them concurs with Craig's view. Graded Phila. guns have juglans regia stocks. Later Savage built graded Foxes often have juglans nigra stock however.
