Decided to shoot trap today using the Mod barrel of the SW. First time shooting trap in 35+\- years. Shot it infrequently back then, as I always a skeet shooter. Never broke 25 in trap. Today hit the first 24 and missed the final target on station 4 on almost a dead straightaway shot. Decided to really make sure I had it and let it go too far and it started to drop and I went right over it. The gun really did reach out and hit them well. Was shooting 1oz of 7.5 at 1100fps.

Thanks. When I shot trap I was usually 18/19. Always that station 1 or 5 hard angle left/right that got me. Not today. I was more impressed with the gun.44whiskey wrote:way to go.all the best 44whiskey

Good job on the round of trap. Tho' not a trap shooter I nevertheless understand what is necessary, mentally, to pull off a clean round at clays. It's so easy to give in, on the last bird or two, to the urge to "be too careful". It has ruined a perfect round for more than a few of us.

Nice shooting. I also like to shoot trap with my Fox.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.
