Cased Lefever Upland 12
I finally got around to taking pics of a recent score. G-Grade Syracuse Lefever in 12-gauge made about 1901 with 28" damascus tubes and excellent bores. She came cased with the old time loading tools and accessories. Tubes touch at the muzzle and original chokes are full tapered at 15 and 21 points = about Light Mod and Mod. Weight 6 -15 with 2-5/8 drop at heel and 14 LOP over the HRBP.

That's a beauty Frank. Pretty light too considering the damascus barrels.

Mike, the chambers measure a hair short of 2-5/8". Also for two gents who asked separately about loads; my regular loading for 12 ga damascus and twist barrels that check out for wall thickness is the Rem Gun Club hull with CB 8100-12 wad (TGT-12 equivalent), 1 ounce of shot and pushed by IMR "PB" single-base powder. It’s about a 2-3/4 DE load. I was fortunate to have gotten a good supply of PB before it was discontinued.

Frank, very nice Lefever! To me they have one of the nicest profiles and handling characteristics of any gun out there! Great shoot able dimensions as well!
