I chose a pattern that will closely resemble a DE "Special" I saved pictures of and shared with Dan.
He said he was up for the challenge.
He won't have a problem. He told me the issues are always getting the layout right. Once that's done the rest of it isn't very hard if one has a steady hand. PS. Dan has a steady hand.

Very nice Roger. Will we see some of the work in progress on Dan's tables at the Vintage Gunners Cup event?

Frank,
That’s up to Dan. I can’t make it and we have not discussed it.

Dan is going to be hit and miss at the Vintagers. He has a wedding to attend on Saturday and a Rehearsal Dinner Friday evening. Those who want to see him best be there on Thursday. His dad will be manning the both on Friday and I don't believe they will be attending the event on Saturday because of the wedding. Indeed as they say, he has a full plate.

I would have to take a wild guess and surmise that Roger is getting pretty excited to get his magnificent custom back into the stable soon if he has not done so already. I’ve been really looking forward to seeing pics of this beauty 2-barrel set all buttoned up. I think it’s a safe bet that I’m not the only one on the edge of my seat here waiting to see how sweet it turned out Roger! Just thought I would let you know we’re all pumped to see it.

Had a very good friend who was a masterful salesman. Fellow could sell ice to Eskimos. He told me it was all about the chase. He would quickly move on to the next one. That said, this gun of Rogers is certainly special and a one of a kind. It no doubt will be in the field this fall.

All I want to say is that the Checkering is not completely done.
I've seen progress pictures and it is getting there.
