What a find! Late Miller trigger and Iver Johnson provenance. What is the date of manufacture? Iver Johnson had a connection with Miller triggers in the thirties and forties. I have two Iver Johnsons with Miller triggers from the factory.

Some of you might recall that I bought a custom engraved 16 gauge Citori Gran Lightning late last year that is a beauty.
Well I got outed on the 16 gauge forum so I thought I'd share a little more.
I actually got the consecutively serial numbered twin a little later so technically it was a 2017 purchase. Even the wood looks like they came from matching blanks.
It seemed a little excessive at first but I am glad I did it. Someday I'm going to buy a separate case for each and have them personalized for my two sons.

Eightbore, a gentleman on another forum estimated that it was manufactured between 1920 and 1922. If you have additional information, I would like to hear from you. I don't know much about the gun other than it's light, tight and fun to shoot.
