Both Annie and Sophie are doing fine. Sophie is ruling the roost while Annie is away at the trainer having fun.

Progress. Case coloring done by the folks who bought the process from John Gillette when he retired. Next stop to John Hosford to have the original Fox roll stamps applied to the barrels. Then rust blueing and she will be headed back to Virginia. PS. Just a couple quick pics. Enjoy. Double PS. No frame warping happened. There is always a risk, but if there is a problem Matthew Begley can make it right. Triple PS. This is my last custom Fox. Will turn 69 in October and while I may restock a few if they need it, I'm going to focus mostly on bird hunting behind the girls for the next few years Good Lord willing.

looking good Tom,did i miss finish of septic tank gun project or is it going to be revealed at a later date. i will miss following your projects if you are truly done.also do i remember correctly you acquiring a parker 28ga,and if so is there any hunting that you think the 28 outshines the 20ga at.thanks,fred

Honestly Fred, the 28 gauge Parker Repro is in the safe. At some point it will come out, but I just truly am a Fox guy at heart. The Parker is a stunning little gun and OMG is it light. I think its 5 lb 6 oz.

Septic tank gun is done, been too busy doing other things lately to get it to the range. It is indeed a real looker.

Well, crap. Another issue popped up. Barrels were re-roll stamped by John Josford and returned to Matthew for blueing. During the blueing process, leaks were discovered in the bottom rib, so it needs to be relayed a minimum. Top rib may have to be done as well. We will get there, but another delay and more $$$. Is what it is. I should have it back in early Sept, unless something else pops up. ARGH.

I'm sure it will be worth it Tom.
