Edited my previous post with more info from Daniel. Seems they have had a tough time of late.
They certainly have had a “tough time” over the course of the last year. I’d say they need prayers for health and comfort as the heal from the loss of their son and their health. Thanks for the update.

I was looking at some guns on Guns International and ran across some listings from Daniel Cote. At the bottom of the listings was the following note:
A MESSAGE TO ALL WHO HAVE ORDERED THE "INDEX & READER VOLUME 3":
The Double Gun Journal Index & Reader Volume 3 (456 page hardcover) will be published and shipped by the end of March 2025.
The pre-publication rate of $135 Ppd. to U.S.A. will remain in effect until March 15, 2025. If you haven't ordered yours, please call us.
Thank you for all your patience,
Daniel Philip Côté

An AI Program I've been using indicated the probability of completion by the end of May is 6-10%. Just sayin. frank

What does your AI program give the chance of it happening at all? Fingers crossed but I hope it happens

This was a Bayesian Statistical Estimate using a conservative prediction model. I didn’t ask that question as I continue to have faith that that the 3rd Index and Reader will be mailed at some point in time.

I have enjoyed all the DGJ publications. I am looking forward to receiving this one whenever it might appear.

5/13/25 Update from DGJ:
Good News for everyone who has been waiting patiently for our much delayed Index and Reader Volume 3. They will be winging their way to you within in the next 2 weeks or sooner! Our sincere apologies for this frustrating delay. We are as relieved as you are!
Our printer confirms delivery of the finished Index & Reader Volume 3 to our warehouse by or before May 20, 2025.
All paid-for books (without other accompanying products) will be shipped directly from the Canadian printing plant initially to get it to you asap.
Orders requiring additional DGJ products, signatures, or other special attention will be packaged and shipped from Michigan as soon as we receive the remaining copies.
We will be adding the Index and Reader Vol. 3 to our webstore as soon as we have them in our warehouse. In the meantime, if you have a query about ordering, or credit on your account or anything else, please message or email Daniel or Joanna at the office and we will go through the details with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Thank you again for your loyalty, kind wishes, patience and understanding over what is now 36 years in total. We couldn't have done it without you!

I was never in doubt. Lately I have been opening random back issues and am discovering articles I don't remember reading. When my Reader arrives, I will put the back issues back on the shelf and work on the Reader.

My USPS Informed delivery email today shows a shipping label created in Pembina, ND, for media mail. I believe that is near Canada. I can only assume it is the DGJ Index Reader III.

Fingers crossed but good news. I really hope it happens as it will cap off their great run of contributing to the double world

Pembina is a border crossing in North Dakota. I assume the Cote's printer hand carried the previously addressed books to the USA Post Office in Pembina. Has anyone else gotten this notification? I'm paid up but didn't get a tracking notice. Southern Sportsman couldn't be the only one.
