A beautiful picture taken by Mr Stegmeier of a pretty pheasant taken with a beautiful AE 30” 20 gauge.

That is a beautiful AE 20 and Stan shot it well. He also shot his 8 ga. really well actually walking with a 15 lb. Parker hammer 8 and swinging it on birds as if it was a 6 lb. 12 ga.

Well I finally was able to load the pics from our recent trip to SD into my computer. Our group had really good hunting and we sure had a good time. Plenty of ducks and roosters to keep us on our toe

I can testify that "Fintress" performed like Bo Whoop on the marsh.

She is affectionately know as Baby Whoop.

PS - How old are your Labs?

We get an occaisonal Gadwall here on the Chesapeake but where we were it was Gadwall central. The pothole we were hunting was 50% Gadwalls the rest were Teal, blue and green, Mallards and Pintails.

The pups are about 11 yrs. old. Not quite sure as they both are rescue dogs and I've had them 10 yrs. They have been great hunting partners.

That is great, Daryl. My female Black Lab is 5 1/2 years old. I wonder if I am too old to get another Lab? I am 80 years old now.
