In that Edwin Hedderly, the editor of Western Field magazine, ordered a 16-gauge, 32-inch barrel, Parker Bros. A1 Special in May 1912, similar to the 20-gauge he ordered in April, there may well be something in his writings about it. As we can see from his order he specified 2 7/16 inch chambers, and "Draw bore barrels to shoot extra close" --

Apparently the 20-gauge was lost coming or going from Pachmayr's engraver in West Germany.

So, Mr. McCormack, when are you going to publish all the Hedderly material you've been sitting on for at least two decades now?
