Those are actually the highly inflated "List Prices." The actual Net Selling Price was $350 or $362 with ejectors. Why anybody bought one of these high end Ansley H. Fox doubles is a mystery. In 1906, one could have a W & C Scott "Premier" Grade sidelock for $375 or a $400 "list Price" Lefever Arms Co. Opimus Grade for $280. A Parker Bros. AAHE had a "List Price" of $425 but a Net Price of $318.75.

I too like the lightning bolts. Kinda like a Packard car, "ask the man that owns one".
