Thanks Stan and Dave. I saw the gun recently and made a best guess offer which the gent quickly declined. I'll be out that way again when visiting one of our kids in a few weeks and will check on it then. That's why I wanted to get some input from our members who know the Trap model = pretty cool with that solid rib and straight grip stock. I didn’t check which Stevens business name was on the gun but it didn't have the safety lever or whatever it is, ahead of the trigger. Probably a later gun?

A friend of mine has one with the 32" SR, the rib is wide and very nice to look over.
It handles well and he shoots trap with it regularly. He says it smokes targets even back to 27 yrds!
Guy Ward a Trapshooter from Walnut Log, TN represented Stevens during the time these were being made but I have never come across an ad with him in it, encase you ever come across one please let me know.
I saw one on Gunbroker a couple of years ago in fairly decent shape and as I recall it had a starting bid of $750.
I'll see if I kept a photo of it, and will share accordingly.
