Thanks to all who replied. I have decided to send my collection to Charlton Hall Auctions in West Columbia, South Carolina for their October 26-28, 2017 sale. I have had a long relationship with Charlton Hall and Ronald Long it's owner. I have done arms appraisals for them over the years. I seriously considered Julia's but decided that I needed someone local.

I hope to God that I have not waited too long. I was doing this primarily so that my Daughter, Lisha, and I co do some things and go some places together while there was still time. She has stage 5 brain cancer and developed an infection in her brain cavity about a week ago. She is now in Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia. She cannot communicate and has to be restrained. I humbly ask for your prayers with God's help.

Best Regards, George

George, I've thought about Lisha and you often since you started posting and you both have been in my prayers since then. I also remember happier times when I met you at the Southern and you showed us your Christmas Sterlingworth set, and another year your Sterly Cape gun. And you told us about your Dad and his 16 Sterly. Our Lord in his infinite wisdom is always with us, holding our hand even in the darkest times. Squeeze his hand tighter my friend.

Silvers, Thanks for your kind wishes. The Christmas Sterlingworth set and the Sterlingworth 12 x 45/70 cape gun are both in the auction. My Dad's Sterlingworth is a 12 not a 16 and will not be in the sale of course.

Best Regards, George

Sorry George I remembered it as a 16. Do I recall the automobile make right, Packard?

For those reading this, here's a plug for this gentleman and hopes you look at the auction listing.

Thanks to all who helped me with this post. The auction did not turn out very well for me unfortunately. I'll have to now figure out my next move on my collection. My beautiful daughter, Lisha, went home to Jesus and her mother on this past Wednesday. She is now free of pain and suffering.

Best Regards, George

Thanks GUNUT. Lisha was very special to lots of folks. She was involved in ocean expeditions with NOAA, taught third grade for over twenty years, received numerous awards for recognizing our Veterans, wrote poetry for school children: ERICA JANE THE HURRICANE, JOE T. McNAB THE HERMIT CRAB and HALLOWED GROUNDS which appears on the Arlington Cemetery website. (Google HALLOWED GROUNDS LISHA LANDER HYLTON) She will be missed.

George;

She sounds like a wonderful human being! She obviously had great parents. She left the world too early but it sounds like she impacted many lives in a positive way and left earth a better place on her way to heaven. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

God Bless

Mike

George, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know you did all you could to help Lisha. She is now safe and without pain in the Lord's glorious kingdom along with your wife and loved ones.

Thank you Frank. I will always wonder if I could have done more sooner. You are right though. She is now safe in the arms of Our Lord along with Claudia and our other
Loved Ones. As the old spiritual says: "The is a Balm in Giliad to make the Wounded Whole"
