he's 6 months old now and coming along real good,great nose, loves the water and retrieving, our third chessie and he has the most wonderful temperment

Great looking dog, Don. As an aside, how many Barneget Bay Sneak Boxes do you have these days. I have 2.

I have 3 one that is ready to go,my Chadwick/Perrine and a pair from the same owner and builder that I restored the one and the other that could be restored,but its kinda cool to have a real before and after so to speak. Hard to find a nice project sneakbox anymore

Hi Jim,
Thanks! Westerly is our family's game preserve and they are a cross between a boykin, cocker, and springer. Its our own little cocktail. Great dogs and very loyal.

100 percent. Had one red littermate, the rest all black and tans. They're how the breeder learned about having red recessive genes in both the sire and dam!

AKC allows for two alternate colors to be registered in Gordons, red and tan. They do not recognize chocolate or white, but both variations pop out sometimes. Only thing you can't do with the alternates is show them. My rufus doofus (littermate Casey too for that matter) came out tan, and a dark line down his back bled downward to make him red. I'm told that's how Irish setter pups develop their color as well. Hmmm.

Here is a 7 month old that should be ready to hunt by this fall as he is pretty steady now and just needs some birds killed over him.
