My prewar Model 21, 28", non ejector 20 gauge weighed six pounds, four ounces. It had a canoe paddle pistol grip stock and splinter forend. With some drilling of the stock through the butt, I'm sure I could have gotten under six pounds. Unfortunately, this great gun has joined someone else's collection.

I have a prewar model 21 20 gauge that is a two barrel set. 26 and 28 inch. I absolutely love the Model 21 for it's durability and the ability to digest almost any modern load. Mine was originally shipped to the Seattle Hardware Company. I was also lucky enough to come across a Model 21 Duck 12 two barrel set with vent ribs. Both 30 inch barrels. The barrels are choked IC/Mod, and Mod/Full. It is an outstanding clays gun.

Your gun looks fantastic in the condition that you purchased. Ditto the other comments. Thanks for sharing.

My father worked for Seattle Hardware Company 1936 into 1940. Bought a Remington The Sportsman with his employee discount for $38 and often mentioned he really wanted the Parker in a window display that he could have gotten for a bit over $100.

Love M21s! Currently don't own any but have had 3 in all 3 gauges and each of them was a peach to shoot. One of our regular weekend SC "Geezer Squad" members snagged Neil Sheehan's (Pentagon Papers fame) 20 ga. 2-barrel M21 Custom Shop set, one set SK/SK, the other IC/MOD. Our guy got there first before the estate planners showed up just after Neil died. Kevin
