She's home. Trying to get readjusted to Sophie and a pile of cats. She learned a lot. She's not exactly finished in the least, but she is much closer. PS. Pic of her on point with the trainer this morning. We were out for 20 minutes max. Temps were 82 degrees at 9 am with high humidity. After her workout she hit the pool and cooled off and we started the 2.5 hour drive home.

She's looking good, Tom. I hope you take out your new 20 ga. with Annie this Fall.

Thanks Jeff. That little 20 gauge Grouse/Woodcock gun should be headed up to John Hosford next week to have the roll stamps put on the barrel. Then Rust Blueing and down my way. I would expect I will have it by no later then Sept.
Cabin is booked for the 3rd week in Oct up in the thumb area of Michigan. Hoping the doodles will be there in mass.

That’s good, but I was thinking of your new one from the Southern.

I have shot that gun a number of times on 5 stand since the Southern. Shot it well. That said, its more of a bird gun then a clays gun imo. I like a pistol grip for clays.

Tom, you look great in the hat. Will you be bringing Annie to Michigan?

That is the plan. Supposed to be in the Grayling area starting 19 Oct.

Pic her up next Wednesday. Sadly my trip to Michigan won't happen. My hunting buddies wife has had some health issues just surfaced and we had to cancel. My plans are to start hunting PA in Mid October once the Woodcock season opens.

Sorry to hear about your buddy’s wife. I’m sure you’ll do well in your area, but the trip is half the fun.
