Thanks all. It is an interesting gun. The forends during this period are wider than the later guns andthey just looks better proportioned to my eye. I also I like the push button forend release better than the later guns with the pull off forend. The tigger guard also runs all the way to the pistol grip cap--very classy in my opinion. The pivot lever is also very cool. The comb of the stock is also finished off like a Parker BH or above---very cool. I have much to learn about Lefervers but now I own three great examples 8 gauge E, 12ga E ejector and the F pictured.
