On page 2 G.B. Evans states, "I know of each of his guns, although I never balanced the ten pounds of Becker magic" so I can't honestly say "yes" or "no" to your question. So, what leads you to doubt that he did, just asking?

I don'd see anything unusual abot BoWhoop's top-lever in this picture from the Derrydale edition of Ole Miss'.

I have no idea when GBE met Nash Buckingham, so I have no real opinion about his statements about the gun. However, in Portrait of Nash, GBE says "I never shot with Nash.", "My admiration for him grew during our correspondence.". In scanning the chapter again, I don't see any anecdotes about Nash and GBE spending time together. The page 2 statement implies that he had not actually seen the guns. I don't know how the cover shot was composed, but I would wager it was done at the DU museum. GBE does not say that he actually participated.

I would agree with your statement about Nash and GBE spending time together. I believe they did meet at a conference in Washington, D.C. and GBE does state on page 2 of "The Best of N.B.", "I never shot with him"

The picture on the front of the same book is of Becker #2. Dr. Andrews informed me that he took that particular picture, but the design layout was arranged by GBE as stated on the bottom inside dust jacket cover of the same book.
Dr. Andrews purchased Becker #2 in 1969 and after Nash's death in 1971inherited much of Nash's hunting memorabilia.

On page 44 of Dr. Andrews' book, Nash Buckingham, Beaver Dam and Other Hunting Tales he states, "This past year I made a transfer (sold) of Bo Whoop (#2 Becker gun) and all the memorabilia of Mr. Buck to Mr. Billy Dunavant. I sincerely hope that perhaps a room will be provided to house these articles in the New Duck's Unlimited Offices, now under construction in Memphis."

While duck hunting with Dr. Andrews (Dr. Chub) at Beaver Dam (Gibbon section of the lake), I asked him why he parted with the #2 Becker gun? His reply was, "In my lifetime, I have probably smelled the roses a little too much along the way and could no longer financially afford to keep it."

Refresh my memory. Which Becker is the bottom gun in the picture? Serial number?

Probably 33050 in its original straight grip, no safety, livery. Despite what Nash wrote, neither were quite "ten-pounds."
