Question about an inherited A H Fox

Post by John Snyder »

I inherited an 20ga dbl-barrel two-trigger AH Fox from a friend of my fathers. The barrel is stamped "MADE BY AH FOX GUN Co PHILA.PA.USA." AND "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL". Below the trigger guard is engraved "202752".

I would would certainly not say the engraving as ornate, but there is some nice engraving on the metal parts including the name "ANSLEY H FOX" on both sides.

The gun was used in the field but I would classify the condition as "good". It is no longer used and has a place on my wall.

Does anyone have any idea what the appraised value of this gun might be?

Thanks

John: Welcome to Fox Collectors. It is impossible to appraise your gun without a full description and good quality pictures. Your gun is a 20ga graded gun that's about all we can tell from your description. Value depends on the grade of the gun and condition.
