Factory Letter

Does Mr. Callahan provide you with the number weight of the barrel? There is no weight designation on the barrel to my 16 gauge and I was wondering if his research would reveal that.

Thanks

I received a factory letter on my early A-grade recently. It did not contain any information on barrel weight. Other cards may have different information.

Once in a while an order from someone in the know might have specified a barrel weight, but they are few and far between. Usually just a total weight or weight range is specified for the finished gun. Sometimes one sees something like "light as possible" and then a finished weight penciled in.
