Great pic Craig! I’m sure Mollie handled the transition to pheasant like a pro!! Enjoy the trip.

Craig - it looks like both you and Mollie are smiling. We all know why. Very nice.

I bet Mollie is having the time of her life. Those wild pheasants can really wind up a pup! Thanks Craig.

Back from SD, I drove, that's the last time I do that by myself----21 hours over two days. Molly is going back to the trainer for the winter in South Carolina the day before Thanksgiving. I plan to visit and handle her a couple of times this winter. I am hunting ducks over Thanksgiving with my son--our family all lives out of the area so we would rather hunt than eat turkey LOL. Our late season duck opens December 6th, fingers crossed our marsh isn't frozen, Nellie will get the retrieving duties. I still have two southern Quail preserve hunts planned for Jan and Feb. How about u???

Craig, that’s a long haul to drive solo! Glad you made it back safely!! Hopefully the hunting and bird numbers were worth it. We leave the Friday after thanksgiving for SD. For us it’s 17 hours and we do it straight through but there is two of us to split the driving. Our MI grouse season opens back up from December 1st - January 1st along with our pheasant season opening back up as well.
