20 GA Sterlingworth Barrels

Post by Ruby's_Dad »

Looking for a set of barrels for a 20 GA Sterlingworth. Long story short, I bought this on an auction and the right one measures .017 (as measured by Matthew Begley and one other shop). They were obviously wheeled/sanded and hot blued at some point. They are 4 wt barrels that are uncut with two ivory beads and are 2-1/2" chambers. Also need a stock however that is a much longer project. Receiver was also hot blued as well. I didn't feel great about my very first Fox purchase.

I would post a picture but the forum won't let me login on my phone.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Don’t get discouraged, although it may take some time a set of barrels will show up, continues to check here, look on e-bay, guns international and other sights. When they do show up you may have to pay up for them as they are highly sought after for addl barrel sets for custom projects or people as yourself needing to replace a set of barrels.

I will do so. I know they will be hard to find.
