Indeed it does! - The place should have been named "La Strange" motel. Looks and atmosphere would have been a perfect set for a Toby Hooper movie! A few vagabond characters I suspect were semi-permanent residents (e.g., welfare recipients) wandered around and a couple of them spoke a foreign language that I could never place. I gave the owner a plus when I mildly complained about no coffee maker; he said, "No problem, I'll get one out of the supply pantry." He disappeared and turned up about an hour later with a brand new in the box Mr. Coffee with the Best & Co. price tag still on it. When Ed Muderlak stayed there, the owner made the mistake of engaging Ed in the philosophy and logic of the right to keep and bear arms. Ed went into Perry Mason overdrive and wore him out in a hurry. He took off and no one could find him the rest of the evening! Kevin

Some pages from the 2005 Vintage Cup booklet. The event was one of the high points of the the Vintagers and the Orvis/Sandanona venue! I shot the Championship that year. There were so many shooters and thus two flights each with a shotgun start (assigned starting stations). I was squadded with a young man/sponsored shooter from a respected London maker who came with an entourage of company and video camera people who followed us while shooting, also two gents from the continent and one from the Midwest. I with my 32" Model 21. Truly a world class event. I came home with a good Fox too, my first straight gripper. I don't want to give my time away but based on this year's reports I'm looking forward to the 2025 Game Fair at Sandanona. frank

The LaGrange had nothing on The Willows and the "Strange" proprietors. I hope The Willows is still in business when we attend the Game Fair next year. British Sporting Arms and Safari Outfitters make this a great destination.
