Super Fox Pamphlet
Attended the MI Antique Arms Collector Show last Saturday. While the size of the show continues to decline it still has some great guns and associated items. As I was walking the show I noticed this pamphlet, pricing sheet and envelope. The post mark on the envelope is December 1924 and the price sheet is dated 1924 as well. Cool that the address was Zeeland, MI and that it has stayed in the state all that time.

Re: Super Fox Pamphlet
Appears to be in amazing condition since it’s 100 years old. I wonder if Dick Kroodsma bought an HE? Have you driven by his house?

Re: Super Fox Pamphlet
Nice find!!
An anomaly I've noticed is that both of the A.H. Fox Gun Co. Super-Fox pamphlets state the HE-Grade is stocked with American walnut. The 1923 pamphlet --
The 1925 pamphlet --
The catalogs all state the Super Fox is stocked in English Walnut. The 1924 "A Fox Gets the Game" catalog --
The 1925-27 "Wood Grain" catalog --
The 1927 "Have a Healthful Hobby" folder --
The 1928-29 "Wood Grain" catalog --

Re: Super Fox Pamphlet
Craig, thanks for sharing. I’ll have to go back through my other catalogs again. I wonder if it was really “English” walnut given how most of the Super Foxes I’ve seen have relatively plain wood. Perhaps that was deliberate given what they were built for and the loads they were meant to digest. Brett
