Fox Booth at the Southern

Post by Jeff S »

Over the years I’ve noticed that many of the members have a strong love affair with “long legged” small bores. From a handling point of view, this obsession is understandable. The small bores are generally lightweight, and the long barrels smooth out the “swing”. Personally, I have not added one to my collection (yet). I own a 30” 16 ga. Sterly, but no small bores with 32” barrels.

Let’s try to make the Southern Booth a long legged small bore display. I know that a couple of my good friends own 32” 20’s, and I’m sure that there are more out there. If you’re coming to the Southern, pack that 32 inches and put it on the table for the other members to observe. They’re rare these days and it would be a lot of fun to see them. If you can bring one, please let me know. Jeff

Thanks Kevin.

Daryl, 30 inchers are nice too. I’m sure a few people would like to see your 30” 20 ga. A.

Will do. I'll also bring the 32" B grade PAC gun.
Speaking of 30" smallbores, I could always display the not so fancy 20ga SW. It should bring back a good memory of a field in SD during a photo shoot. :P
