Ejector problems

Post by Rolland »

Hi
I am new to the forum, as I just aquired a AH Fox Sterlingworth serial 760XX 12G .I have a question on the removal and replacement of an extractor pin. The left side is not working and it looks like the tab is broken off on the post in the receiver. I did remove both main springs and cleaned the accumulation of years of dirt, rust and old grease out. the cups and rods on both look ok. Replaced the yoke, yoke screw, rotary bolt, and sear spring,. Every thing locks up nicely other than the left ejector not ejecting. The condidtion I received the gun in was that it would fire both barrels from time to time and the yoke ended up broken at the rotary lock. The left ejector did not work when I received gun
I would like to replace the left ejector in the frame but don't know how to remove it.
Any help would be appreciated

Rolland I think you are asking for help that is way beyond the abilities or knowledge of most of our membership. My advise would be to seek out a qualified gunsmith. Replacement parts for ejectors may be available from Pumpkin Mt. Gun Shop.

The owner Jason maybe be able to answer your question regarding removal and replacement. Craig
