I guess I'm still waiting to see my 1st graded pin gun. :(

I wonder if the folks at Julia's are aware of it's provenance? They do not claim the barrels as being original, but do however; identify it as an upgrade, but an upgrade from what? I had thought that since it does have some gold inlays that perhaps it was "upgraded" from an original DE, as they do state that "KRUPP FLUID STEEL MADE EXPRESSLY FOR ED SCHULTZ" is hand engraved on the right barrel, which led me to this assumption.

STERLINGWORTH TWO BARREL SET

Post by George Lander »

Thanks Researcher: The barrels are Philadelphia Fox & numbered to the gun. The research letter states that they were ordered & shipped with the gun.

Best Regards, George

I've been looking at Fox doubles for pretty near 50 years and the only graded "pin guns" I've seen are Philadelphia Arms Co. Fox doubles. Then again, I was probably a bit over 40 years before I ever saw a "drawbolt" Fox-Sterlingworth with ejectors!!
