If there is one thing I love more than a shotgun, it's a dog. If I was wealthy I would have a kennel full of them. Of course it would be on my plantation managed for bird hunting. :? What is the gun in your picture?

The gun in the picture is a CSMC Fox XE 20ga, bought 25 years ago.

A couple of additional pictures. CSMC Fox XE grade. Manufac. 1999(I’m the original owner). This, and my BE Grade are my GO-TO Upland hunting guns…

Wow! That’s a beautiful 20 ga. I hope you’ll bring it along with the BE to Hausmann’s.

GreyFox,
Buck looks to be a great dog. Appears to be a liver & white Britt which I’m particularly fond of. Great guns as well. Thanks for sharing!

A photo of Bucks predecessor, Rusty, taken about 20 years prior(same 20ga Fox XE).
During that time while deer hunting in Alberta, I had met Nick Wright a talented Illustrator for many of the popular hunting magazines. Nick kindly produced this 26”x26” watercolor of Rusty and I from photos taken at one of our favorite hunting spots. It’s a highly valued keepsake that hangs above my fireplace!

It is a CSMC Fox XE made for me in 1999. I don’t know who engraved it. I may try calling CSMC to try and find out.
