Looks like “Trouble”
Having spent the majority of the summer raising a litter of 10 Boykin Spaniels, I thought it was time to relax after sending them to new homes. Welp, not exactly. One of those homes happened to be mine! No time for relaxing now. I had planned to keep an offspring of my male, Scout, at some point in a couple of years as he is just 5 years old, but this little guy rooted himself in a little early. Meet Trouble! I think he’ll do nicely….

Re: Looks like “Trouble”
Just turned 5 months old. Tower shoot today and Trouble went along with the lady to take in the sights and sounds(I had to work). He had other plans and got in on some action! Seems like a bird dog in the making to me!

Re: Looks like “Trouble”
Man, time flies! Seems like it was yesterday that we decided to hold on to this guy and this weekend he turned 1. He is really starting to figure out this retrieving thing and I think he will be a good one! I’m partial, but I think he is a fine looking fellow! Here’s the updated photo:

Re: Looks like “Trouble”
Been a little busy, but wanted to share an update from last week. Duck season has been real slow this year for us, but some memories have still been made. Always a special time when your dog achieves a “first”. Here’s Trouble from his first actual duck hunt where he made a nice retrieve on a bird he marked well and went straight to. A wood duck hen near the bushes of a creek bank around 25yds away. This pair make for a great father and son duo!

Nice picture! Are you in Georgia? Looks like “flooded timber”.
