Re: Those Were the Days
The winter 2015 Las Vegas Antique & Sporting Arms Show at the old Riviera. Four of the five board members at that time -- Dave Noreen, Craig Larter, Mike Koneski & Mike Smith.
A bit of a peeve of mine that our organization is "A.H. Fox Collectors Association, Inc." yet there has been no organization presence at a collector's gun show in years. Since my last display at Las Vegas in 2016, the only Fox collector show presence I know of was member Jason Peck doing a display at the Alberta gun show.

Re: Those Were the Days
Good times for sure. Nothing like a Las Vegas show back in the day when it was both a social event and a treasurer hunt. I miss the social aspect but the way vintage guns and other collectibles are sold has changed forever. Much of the problem is the cost and complication of travel. I attended the National Decoy Show in Chicago this year, $600 airfare, $80 cab ride to the hotel, $400. plus per night for a hotel and dinner for just me approaching $100. It takes a dedicated member to coordinate and manage a display booth, our sincere thanks should go out to both Dave and Kevin for carrying the load all these years.
