Birds and Clays

Post by Cgdawkins69 »

Pics of two of my hunting and shooting partners. My dog on last day dove hunt this season. My brother and I with my 16 sterling and he’s sporting his AE 12. We were at the spring 2021 southern side by side shoot. We will be back there this coming April. Be nice if some of y’all would show and let’s show the parkers and Elsie’s we can have a team to shoot against them. Sure we could make it happen if not this shoot but maybe the fall shoot in Georgetown SC

I like the straight grip on that one, looks nicely done! LOVE seeing the Boykin out there. They sure are hell on doves in the heat in the South. Keep going long after most Labs have given up!

Now getting together a Fox team is something we have been trying to do for a long time. Unfortunately the Southern is pretty much filled with the Parker/Smith challenge event in April. A group of us shoot at a club not far from Deep River called Drake Landing every morning and there will be quite a few Fox guns being shot. We could always do an informal challenge event there for fun.

Now where we really need Fox shooters is at the June event at Hausmann's, the late August event at Rock Mountain and the Vintage Cup in Sept. It's a shame we as Fox shooters can't put together a team to take on Parker and Lefever in these events.

Stay tuned here for upcoming details for these events or you can PM me or call me at 410-382-4020 to learn more.
